  Evelyn Herring, 86, of Andalusia, passed away Sat., Aug. 25, 2012, in a local hospital. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Mon., Aug. 27, at Adellum Baptist Church Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing and the Rev. Bobby Morgan, the Rev. Ed Ganus and the Rev. Billy Boles officiating. Survivors include her sons, Lenton Morris Herring, Arlis Wayne Herring, Edward Earl Herring and James Randolph Herring; daughters, Janet Marie Carter and Joyce Harris; sister, Etta Moore Thompson; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren She is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Herring.
